I’m going to share a story with you guys because I don’t ever post stories on my blog.

Wow. I don’t use my blog for what it may be intended for.

So back when I was a freshman, I had a crush on this one girl and I guess it was pretty cool! I asked her to the last dance and she said yes (later she said no because of things I will explain later). It was just a regular thing, talking to each other everyday till the point where we ignored class just to talk. It was all fine till I get this message on facebook from some random-ass dude telling me to “get away from his woman” or something. It was like:

Random Dude:

“Stay away from my woman or I will fuck you up.”

I’m not quite sure if it said that because I deleted it (later on, not immediately). I looked at that an instantly freaked out because like a billion things rushed through my brain. For example:

WHO IS THIS DUDE
WHAT DID I DO
OH MY GOSH IS HE A CHOLO?
FUCK, HE’S GOING TO GET ME
…should I reply?
I can’t think of a witty comeback
maybe I should be all cool and be like “come at me bro”
nah, I never fought anyone before
I’m screwed

And so on and so on. I never actually replied to this guy. I mean, I tried thinking of things to say, but I just couldn’t. Then I thought to myself, “why do I need to deal with this dude?” Seriously, why should I deal with someone who feels the need to threaten people when you don’t know who they are? I ignored the message.

Now back to the girl, she stopped talking to me. I guess that dude really was her honey boo boo child. I tried asking her about it, but she turned away and never said a word. Man, I felt so dumb. But sooner or later I just let it go and never spoke a word.

Looking back on it, I made a great decision for not engaging in any silly online fights and just turning away from it. I mean, I never knew the real reason for it, but I don’t even care anymore. For a person to talk to someone for every single day and just drop them without saying a reason is a really low move. For a anyone to threaten someone over the internet to feel good about themselves is even lower.

I don’t really think there is a moral to this story, or maybe there is but I don’t see it.
